Arms worship is a symbol of self-defense, war against injustice and exploitation: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that arms worship is a part of our ancient tradition. Arms are a symbol of self-defense, war against injustice and exploitation. Religion and country can be protected only with the help of weapons. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the arms worship program on the occasion of “Dussehra” at Maheshwar, the karmabhoomi of Lokmata Ahilya Bai, on Saturday. He said that an industrial belt will be developed to provide employment to the youth in Maheshwar area. Along with this, a tourism village will also be built here. “Ahilya Lok” will also be built in Maheshwar. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Maheshwar was chosen for arms worship because Lokmata Devi Ahilya has been a symbol of good governance and public welfare. Running the government on the basis of the wishes and aspirations of the people regarding public facilities is good governance. Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai is the best example of this. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to give an incentive of Rs. 31,000 to the sub-inspector who confiscated the illegal weapon and also to give Rs. 1 lakh to the Bhajan Mandali for creating a devotional atmosphere in the program.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai worked on the principle of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. She also took help from the tribal society to keep the borders of her state safe. To provide employment to the people, Devi Ahilyabai brought artisans from Aurangabad, Hyderabad, Kashi and other cities and gave work to the weavers in Maheshwar and created a distinct identity in the country in the name of Maheshwari saree. Devi Ahilyabai has worked for women empowerment. She built separate ghats for women on the banks of Narmada. Lokmata Ahilyabai ran her state with full efficiency as the guardian of the people even after the demise of her loved ones. Following the principles of Devi Ahilya, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is also working with the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas and is taking the country towards continuous progress. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the country is today making a different identity. It is our good fortune that we have got a strong leadership in the form of Prime Minister Shri Modi.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav thanked the Maharashtra Government and the Chief Minister for renaming Ahmednagar as Ahilya Nagar on the 300th birth anniversary of Mata Ahilya and said that the Maharashtra Government has brought to life the vision of Lokmata Ahilya’s welfare state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on the basis of the decision of the Supreme Court, a grand Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya. Lord Ram also took up arms against injustice. Carrying forward this tradition, today weapon worship programs are being organized in all the districts of the state. Shastra worship programs will continue to inspire us to defend ourselves and fight against injustice.
On this occasion, keeping in mind the upcoming Simhastha, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to upgrade the Community Health Center of Maheshwar to a Civil Hospital, construction of a road worth Rs. 5.50 crore in Jhapadi, construction of a road worth Rs. 4.50 crore from Bangaria to Soma Khedi, naming Mandleshwar College after Maharishi Mandan Mishra, renovation of 2 temples in the area, expansion of Narsingh Ghat, promotion of textile industry in Maheshwar, development of industrial area near Maheshwar, construction of a divider in Barwah on Barwah-Dhamnod road. On the demand of the local MP and MLA, he said that a cabinet meeting will be held in Maheshwar near Makar Sankranti festival. He said that a Delimitation Commission has been constituted to rationalize the boundaries of tehsils and districts. On receipt of the report of this commission, the boundaries of the district and division will change and the general public will get convenience.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 43 construction works costing Rs 83 crore 20 lakh in Maheshwar through remote. He also released the “Khargone Vaibhav Pustika” prepared by the Khargone district government to promote tourism in Maheshwar. On this occasion, benefits were also distributed to the beneficiaries of various government schemes.
