Delhi. Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award (PMRBP) – awarded to children for exceptional abilities and outstanding achievements. These national level awards are given to children in the age group of 5 to 18 years for their excellence in seven categories such as bravery, art and culture, environment, innovation, science and technology, social service and sports. Each awardee of PMRBP is given a medal, certificate and a citation booklet.
The awards will be presented by the President of India at a formal event to be held at Vigyan Bhawan on January 22, 2024. For the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award for the year 2024, 19 children have been selected for exceptional achievements from all regions of the country.
The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi will meet the National Child Award winners on January 23, 2024. Children will also participate in the Republic Day Parade on 26 January 2024.
The shortlist includes one child from each category of Bravery, Science & Technology and Innovation; Four children in the social service category; Five children are included in the sports category and seven children are included in the art and culture category. The list includes 9 boys and 10 girls, hailing from 18 states and union territories. The list is as follows:
