Administrative approval of pressurized micro irrigation project worth more than 4 thousand crore rupees
Bhopal. A cabinet meeting was held in the ministry under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The cabinet granted administrative approval to the Jawad-Neemuch pressurized micro irrigation project of Neemuch district costing Rs 4 thousand 197 crore 58 lakh, catchment area 1 lakh 8 thousand 600 hectares. The approved project will provide irrigation facility in 59700 hectares of 253 villages of Neemuch tehsil of Neemuch district and 48900 hectares of 212 villages of Jawad tehsil.
The cabinet approved to authorize MP Industrial Development Corporation Limited Bhopal, an institution under the Horticulture Policy and Investment Promotion Department, for the establishment and operation of Power and Renewable Energy Equipment Manufacturing Zone in the manufacturing area of electricity and renewable energy equipment, industrial area Mohasa-Babai district Narmadapuram. It was approved to reimburse the remaining 60% amount of Rs 56 crore 10 lakh from the amount received under the departmental budget after adjusting 40% of the state government’s share amount of Rs 93 crore 50 lakh for the establishment of the manufacturing zone, that is, Rs 37 crore 40 lakh.
According to the decision, the units to be established in the Power and Renewable Energy Equipment Manufacturing Zone will be given other facilities in addition to the prevailing Industry Promotion Policy 2014 as amended. In the manufacturing sector of electrical and renewable energy equipment, the electricity rate of Rs. 4.36 per unit for the first 5 years and thereafter an increase of 3 percent per year was approved and the difference in the electricity rate approved by the Madhya Pradesh Regulatory Commission was reimbursed by the State Government. The electricity charges were reimbursed by the State Government for 5 years from the date of electricity connection to the units. The water rate of Rs. 25 per kilolitre for the first 5 years and thereafter an increase of 3 percent per year was approved in the manufacturing sector of electrical and renewable energy equipment. The reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fee chargeable on land related documents to the units to be set up in the park was approved. The approval for allotment of land to the units in the proposed park was approved. The development fee was approved to be fixed at an annual rate of Rs. 20 per square meter without any increase for 35 years. The land interest was approved to be allotted for land at a token amount of Rs. 1 and the lease rent was approved to be charged at an annual rate of Rs. 1 per square meter. The formation of a committee under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, M.P. Government Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion was approved for land allotment to the units in the proposed park.
Funds approved for setting up of Mega Leather, Footwear and Accessories Cluster Development Park in Morena
The Council of Ministers approved the provision of budget/financial share of Rs. 111 crore 4 lakh as the State Government’s share for setting up of Mega Leather, Footwear and Accessories Cluster Development Park in Industrial Area Sitapur (Phase II), District Morena. The proposal sent to the Government of India for setting up of Mega Leather, Footwear and Accessories Cluster on a total area of 161.7 acres in Industrial Area Sitapur (Phase II), District Morena was approved.
It was approved that the State Government would reimburse the financial burden of land development fee, land interest and rebate in lease rent to the investors in Mega Leather, Footwear and Accessories Cluster Development Cluster, District-Morena, for the approved activities in the proposed cluster including leather footwear, bags, belts, jackets, garments, leather accessories such as watch straps, non-leather footwear and other leather related manufactured/finished products. It was approved that the formation of a committee under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, MP Government’s Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department, for allotment of land to the units in the proposed cluster.
