A member of martyr Gautam’s family will be taken into government service: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

The Chief Minister presented a cheque of Rs one crore to the family of the martyred police sub-inspector

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Thursday presented a cheque of Rs 1 crore under personal accident insurance to Gautam family of Mauganj district at the Chief Minister’s residence. This amount was provided to the family as per the supplementary personal accident insurance facility given to policemen under the State Bank of India’s Police Salary Package Scheme. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has directed the Director General of Police to take the eligible heir of martyr Gautam into government service.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that while presenting the cheque to Smt. Pushpa, wife of police sub-inspector Shri Ramcharan Gautam, who sacrificed his life while performing his duty, that the state government has given martyr status to late Gautam and approved a financial assistance of Rs. 1 crore to his dependents.

While performing his duties in village Gadra, district Mauganj, police sub-inspector Shri Ramcharan Gautam was martyred this month. On the occasion of handing over the insurance grant cheque to the family of late Gautam, Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana, CGM SBI MP/CG Shri Chandrashekhar Sharma, General Manager Shri Ajitabh Parashar, General Manager Shri Kundan Jyoti, General Manager Shri Manoj Kumar and other senior officials of State Bank of India were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav talked to late Gautam’s wife Smt. Pushpa and late Gautam’s son Shri Dhirendra and nephew Shri Satish who were present on the occasion. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that whatever was required by law has been done but the state government will provide full support to the family of late Ramcharan Gautam.
