Fire Breaks Out in Urla Raipur Factory: Six transformers burnt to ashes

In a factory located in the Urila area of Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh, a serious fire broke out in one of the electrical transformers this morning at around nine o’clock. Out of the seven transformers present at the site, six were completely engulfed in flames and destroyed. The incident was reported to the fire department, and a team from the Fire and Emergency Services Department promptly arrived at the scene. After nearly one and a half hours of intense effort, the fire was brought under control.

It is reported that the fire originated from a small spark in one of the transformers. Within minutes, the spark escalated into a raging fire, visible from afar. Three fire trucks rushed to the location and successfully extinguished the flames. While the fire has been contained, there are concerns about significant financial losses for the factory.

Fortunately, there were no casualties reported due to the fire. However, the factory is expected to suffer losses amounting to lakhs of rupees due to the damage caused by the fire. The incident underscores the importance of prompt response and effective firefighting measures to prevent such accidents and minimize the impact on lives and property.
