Natinal news: Movement: Clash begins between farmers and police
New Delhi. After the failure of talks with the central government, farmers are once again bent on agitation. Various farmer organizations started marching from Punjab, Haryana and UP to Delhi at the scheduled time i.e. at 10 am on Tuesday. It is feared that more than 2000 farmers have left for Delhi with tractor trolleys. In view of this, there is high alert in Delhi. The borders with Haryana and UP were sealed. Delhi Police has also issued a traffic advisory. Let us tell you, farmers had demonstrated something similar in 2020-21. Farmer organizations are pushing the same issues forward.
In the recent meeting with the government, many demands were agreed upon, including withdrawal of cases registered against farmers during the violent protests of 2020-21, but the talks got stuck regarding the law guaranteeing MSP. Union ministers proposed to resolve the demands by forming a committee, but farmer organizations did not agree to it.
