Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has said that he has proved American pressure meaningless. He appealed to his supporters and the people of Pakistan to vote in large numbers. Meanwhile, in an important political development, the elections of Imran’s party-Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) organization have been postponed.

The former Prime Minister of Pakistan is in jail. Before the general elections to be held on February 8, he has told PTI supporters and the people of Pakistan that they should make the elections successful by taking part in voting in large numbers. The former Prime Minister claimed that he was successful in proving the American pressure ineffective. According to Imran, public participation will emerge as a ‘weapon of votes’ in the general elections to be held in Pakistan. He said that if there had been another Prime Minister in his place, he would not have been successful in stopping American intervention.

Imran claims that if he had not challenged American power, no Prime Minister of Pakistan would have dared to face such open foreign interference in his country.
