Bhopal: Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel hoisted the flag and took the salute of the parade at the Independence Day function organized at Bhind District Headquarters today. Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, along with Collector Shri Sanjeev Shrivastava and Superintendent of Police Dr. Asit Yadav, rode in a jeep and inspected the parade and greeted the public and guests. After this, the Chief Guest, along with all the guests, officers, dignitaries and students present, watched and listened to the live telecast of the message of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to the people of the state. Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel released balloons, a symbol of peace, in the air at the main function. The parade contingents fired in joy and raised slogans of Independence Day Amar Rahe. After that, the parade marched past and saluted the tricolor.
Presentation of cultural programs PM Shri Government High School Barhi Bhind, Aashas. Sadhna Vidya Niketan Bhind, Sandipani Government Higher Secondary School participated in the colorful cultural programs organized on Independence Day. Children of Model Senior Secondary School Bhind, Sh.M.L.Ba.Kanya U.M.V.Bhind, Asha.Sant Vivekanand Public School Didi Bhind, Govt. Utkrisht U.M.V. No. 1 Bhind gave presentation. In the parade organized on Independence Day by the Chief Guest, Minister Shri Prahlad Patel, District Police Force Men were awarded first prize and 17th Battalion SAF Bhind was awarded second prize. Similarly, in the school parade team, NCC Senior Division (Boys) was awarded first prize and NCC Senior Division (Girls) was awarded second prize. Police Band Bhind was awarded special prize. Similarly, in cultural programs, Asha.Sant Vivekanand Public School Didi Bhind was awarded first prize, Govt. Utkrisht U.M.V. No. 1 was awarded second prize and PM Shri Govt. High School Barhi Bhind was awarded third prize.
Regional MP Smt. Sandhya Rai, MLA Bhind Shri Narendra Singh Kushwaha, District Panchayat President Smt. Kamna Singh Bhadoria, District Bhind President Smt. Saroj Baghel, Collector Shri Sanjeev Shrivastava, Superintendent of Police Dr. Asit Yadav along with other officials, public representatives, district officers of various departments, officers, employees and citizens of urban bodies and panchayats were present in the function. On the occasion of Independence Day, flag hoisting program was organized at section, tehsil, district, urban body and gram panchayat levels of the district besides the district headquarters. Had lunch at ITI Campus Bhind On the occasion of Independence Day, Minister-in-charge Shri Prahlad Singh Patel had lunch with students, democracy soldiers and family members of Kargil martyr soldiers in ITI Campus Bhind.
