The state government is ready to encourage meritorious students: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the per capita income of Madhya Pradesh has now increased to Rs 1 lakh 52 thousand, which was only Rs 11 thousand till the year 2002-03. In the last one and a half years, the area of irrigation has increased by seven and a half lakh hectares. Many districts of the state will benefit through the river linking campaign. The state is progressing in all areas, special encouragement is being given to industrial activities and investment. The state government is promptly making every possible effort to encourage meritorious students. Arrangements have been made to give laptops and scooties to students who score more than 75 percent marks in the 12th board examination and come first in the school. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Swarn Sharda Scholarship-2025 distribution ceremony organized by a private news channel. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave scholarships and certificates to talented girl students and wished them a bright future.
Kumari Priyal Dwivedi of Government Higher Secondary School, Amarpatan, who stood first in the state in the 12th class examination of MP Board, told Chief Minister Dr. Yadav that she is interested in pursuing further studies in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), but due to circumstances it is not possible. On this Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that the state government will make arrangements for Kumari Priyal Dwivedi’s studies in VIT. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored 66 girl students in the program, in which the topper girl students of each district were given Rs. 50 thousand, a certificate and Miss Priyal Dwivedi, who stood first in the state, was given a cheque of Rs. one lakh and her school also received a cheque of Rs. one lakh.
