Madhya Pradesh will continue to be ahead in the field of cleanliness: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal: Public representatives led by Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai met Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at the Secretariat on Tuesday evening. Smt. Rai presented the certificate and trophy given by the President to Bhopal in the field of cleanliness to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed hope that Madhya Pradesh will continue to be a leader in the field of cleanliness. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, Shri Ravindra Yati, Shri Rajesh Hingorani and other officials for this achievement. It is noteworthy that President Smt. Draupadi Murmu honored Bhopal, Indore and other cities of Madhya Pradesh with Swachh Survekshan 2024 awards last week. Bhopal received the second prize for clean city in the category of population more than 10 lakh. Officials of Budhni Municipal Corporation also met Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and informed about Budhni being awarded among cities with less than 20 thousand population. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the officials of both the bodies. Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai said that Safai Mitras of Bhopal city will also be awarded for their best performance in the field of cleanliness. It is noteworthy that along with Bhopal, Indore was awarded the best clean city in the Swachh League Award category with a population of more than 10 lakh. In the same category, Ujjain received the best clean city award in the category of cities with a population of 3 to 10 lakh.
