Football Excellence Centre, Sports Infrastructure and Spanish Coaching based Youth Training Program will be started in Madhya Pradesh on PPP mode: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

 

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav started the first day of his Spain visit by visiting the world famous LaLiga headquarters in Madrid and met senior officials and held a dialogue focused on sports, youth empowerment and investment cooperation. He said that the benefits of LaLiga’s sports expertise and global reach should reach the youth of Madhya Pradesh. This visit is not just a formal visit, but a symbol of the state’s determination towards innovation, social inclusion and international partnership in the field of sports.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav proposed to the officials and technical directors of LaLiga that Football Excellence Centre, Sports Infrastructure Upgradation and Spanish Coaching based Youth Training Program should be started in Madhya Pradesh on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. He also said that this partnership with LaLiga will not be limited to sports only, but it can give a new direction to employment generation, social participation, international branding and cultural tourism in the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav suggested that Madhya Pradesh’s cultural diversity, wildlife, heritage sites and tourism opportunities can be effectively promoted among a wide audience in Spain and Europe through digital and ground co-branding campaigns during LaLiga matches. This will strengthen the possibilities of attracting foreign investment not only in tourism but also in sectors like sports tourism, fitness, media broadcasting and sports tech.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while mentioning Madhya Pradesh’s 18 sector-specific industrial policies and visionary initiatives like ‘Start Your Business in 30 Days’, invited global investors associated with LaLiga to invest in the state. He said that Madhya Pradesh is now emerging as a reliable and favorable destination not only for India but also for global partnerships.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appreciated LaLiga’s long-term expertise and its involvement in India in areas such as youth skill development, talent identification through football academies, and community participation and said that Madhya Pradesh will make sports a powerful medium of social development through this collaboration.

LaLiga and Madhya Pradesh: Partners of the Future

LaLiga, Spain’s premier professional football league, is not only a symbol of sporting excellence, but it is also an influential platform for training, technical cooperation and brand expansion for youth globally. LaLiga’s involvement in India, especially initiatives like LaLiga Football Schools, show that Spanish football has developed a deep connection with Indian youth. Now this relationship can open the door to new opportunities for a promising state like Madhya Pradesh.

This visit of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is considered a visionary initiative towards investing in the state by connecting with the global sports network, skill development of youth and strengthening cultural identity. Addressing the media after discussing with senior officials at the La Liga headquarters in Madrid, the capital of Spain, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the kind of environment created for sports in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given talents an opportunity to reach the international stage. Sports is no longer just a competition, but is linked to the personality, career and global identity of the youth of India.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the support of the Government of India and the Sports Ministry, Madhya Pradesh is also moving ahead in the development of sports at every level. He told that when Prime Minister Shri Modi compared a small village in Shahdol to the “football capital” of India, it was not just a compliment but a sign of recognizing the hidden strength of the country, which is present in rural India. The Chief Minister said that from Shahdol to Bhopal, the infrastructure for all sports including football is being strengthened in the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is committed to providing modern facilities, training and opportunities to participate in global competitions to the players. He said that by learning from the experiences of countries like Spain, football will also be given a new direction in Madhya Pradesh. Work is being done on the possibilities of technical cooperation, training centers, and participation in international tournaments to hone talents.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while talking to the media, said that during his stay in Spain, along with the programs of industrial investment, he has also held many high-level meetings for the sports sector. He said that our goal is to make Madhya Pradesh a leader not only in industry, tourism or education, but also in the field of sports. He said that the government is continuously working to provide world-class opportunities to the youth of the state. Through sports like football, not only the body, but also the future can be shaped.
