Chhattisgarh on the path of good governance and development – announcement of sub-tehsil, college, Nalanda campus and free bus services in Pandaria

Raipur, 06 July 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to bring every corner of the state into the mainstream of development. He said that the state government is working with full commitment to implement the policies and resolutions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the ground. Continuous efforts are being made towards establishing good governance by closing all avenues of corruption. The Chief Minister said that many schemes are being implemented rapidly to connect rural areas with strong infrastructure and basic facilities. Chief Minister Sai was addressing the Mahtari Alankaran Samman ceremony of Pandaria assembly constituency through virtual medium today. He said that the initiative to make Pandaria area prosperous, strong and developed has started. In this direction, many schemes and development works are being approved and implemented. The Chief Minister made many important announcements on this occasion. He announced the establishment of a new sub-tehsil in Ranveerpur, starting a college in Birendra Nagar from the next academic session, a 250-seater new Nalanda campus in Pandaria, a new building for the college in Kunda and a new Nagar Palika building in Pandaria. Apart from this, 2.1 km of National Highway-130A will be widened and upgraded to 4 lanes.
The inauguration and bhoomi pujan of infrastructure development works constructed at a cost of Rs 72 crore was also done by the Chief Minister in the program. He informed that Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras have been established in 1,460 Gram Panchayats so far for the expansion of banking facilities in rural areas and this facility will be extended to all the Panchayats in the next one year. The registry process has been made simple, transparent and less expensive so that common citizens do not have to face any difficulty. While praising the efforts of regional MLA Bhavna Bohra, Chief Minister Sai said that the launch of 5 free bus services for girl students is not just a facility but a historic step towards the confidence and empowerment of girls. Now girl students will not face any kind of problem in going to and coming from college. Addressing the program, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that today is a historic day for Pandaria, when development works worth Rs 72 crore are being inaugurated and 5 free buses for girls are being launched. This is a unique initiative of its kind in Chhattisgarh.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that development in the state is no longer limited to urban areas, but is reaching every village and region equally. The coming time will be a new chapter of progress for Chhattisgarh. Lok Sabha MP Santosh Pandey said that this initiative will prove to be important for the education and empowerment of daughters. Free bus facility will give more strength to the girl students to realize their dreams. Regional MLA Bhavna Bohra said that earlier 3 free buses were being operated, which have now been increased to 8. This service will be a support for the girl students studying in the colleges of Pandaria, Pandatarai, Pipariya, Sahaspur Lohara and Kawardha. He said that in the last one and a half years, schemes worth more than Rs 600 crore have been approved in the Pandaria assembly constituency. Harinala bridge, bypass and many much-awaited works have now gained momentum. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Home Minister Vijay Sharma joined the program virtually. MP Santosh Pandey, MLA Bhavna Bohra and many public representatives and officials were present in the function organized in the premises of PM Swami Atmanand Government School, Pandaria.
