An example of cleanliness and service on the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar: Many initiatives from cleaning ponds to health checkup in Ward 60

Raipur – In compliance with the order of the Urban Administration and Development Department of Chhattisgarh Government, in the context of the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar on 31 May 2025, as per the instructions of Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mrs. Meenal Chaubey, Culture Department Chairman Amar Gidwani, Commissioner Vishwadeep and under the guidance of Zone Commissioners, various positive activities are being organized daily through zones under the aegis of the Culture Department of Municipal Corporation Raipur to make the general public aware of the biography of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar. Under this, today the team of Municipal Corporation Zone No. 4, through Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) today, under Zone 4, under Pandit Bhagwati Charan Shukla Ward No. 57, in the old Rajendra Nagar area near the Ravan statue near Budhi Mata Temple, the health check-up of 10 Swachhata Didi was done by the doctors through the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) of the Health Department and they were given necessary medical advice and medicines as per requirement. To free the Satbahaniya pond in the old Rajendra Nagar area from water hyacinth, a campaign was launched for environmental protection in the interest of society and cleaning was done on the instructions of ward councilor and MIC member Amar Gidwani and zone 4 zone commissioner Arun Dhruv. At the same time, the team of zone 6 health department cleaned the Sheetla pond in the area of Chandrashekhar Azad ward number 60 under the zone through shramdaan by the residents of the ward under the leadership of ward councilor Ramesh Sapaha and in the presence of zone health officer Adivya Hazari. On the instructions of zone 7 zone president Mrs. Shweta Vishwakarma and zone commissioner Rakesh Sharma, the general public was made aware of the biography of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar on the occasion of her 300th birth anniversary in front of Shiv Vatika garden in Samata Colony area under zone 7 area in the presence of zone health officer Atmanand Sahu.
