 Protesters: Insulting the PM is an Insult to India- Rakesh Tomar Uttarakhandi, president of the Rudrasena Foundation, didn’t mince words. He labeled the video a direct attack on the nation, stating that sharing such content isn’t just disrespectful; it’s bordering on sedition. He highlighted the video’s potential to damage India’s reputation and deeply wound patriotic citizens.

 Police Arrest Accused After Formal Complaint- Things escalated quickly after a formal complaint was filed by the BJP Mandal President. Police acted swiftly, registering a case and arresting the accused, Maindrath. Maindrath had shared an inappropriate AI-generated video featuring PM Modi and Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif, which went viral and caused widespread anger.

 Five AI Videos, One Major Controversy- A police investigation of the accused’s phone revealed five AI-generated videos on his Facebook account. Four criticized Pakistan, but it was the video involving PM Modi that sparked the controversy. The accused claimed it was an accident, but the legal process continues.

 Investigation Underway, Emphasis on Digital Accountability- The police investigation is ongoing, and authorities have made it clear that this kind of digital misuse and disrespect towards national leaders won’t be tolerated. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers of AI-generated content and the critical need for stricter regulations.
