Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that introduction and inspiration from the glorious past of India is an essential need of the present. For this very purpose, the state government is developing Veer Bharat Museum in Ujjain. Bharat Bhumi has centuries of culture and best knowledge. Even after many attacks on the country and its culture, the brave sons have preserved the Indian life values ​​by protecting the culture and traditions with their valor and sacrifice. The brilliant personalities and events of all the periods of India will be highlighted in Veer Bharat Museum. The contribution of the country’s warriors, thinkers, philosophers, sages, writers, artists, scientists will also be mentioned here. Research, research, fellowship and study activities focused on Bharat Utkarsh will be conducted under Veer Bharat Trust. In the first phase, Veer Bharat Museum will be established in Kothi Mahal of Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the activities of Veer Bharat Trust, Veer Bharat Museum and Mahadev Murti Kala Karyakramshala in the Ministry and gave necessary guidelines. The meeting also discussed the 300th anniversary celebrations of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai. Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajoura were present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Ujjain has been important since the beginning of creation. Historically, a gallery focusing on the importance of Ujjain in different eras should be developed in Veer Bharat Museum. Along with this, there should also be galleries on different regions of Madhya Pradesh. Along with connecting experts of culture, art and architecture with the development of the museum, which is being developed as the heritage of the country, cooperation should also be taken from the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India. Ujjain should be developed as a center for the preservation and development of the tradition of sculpture, and statues should be made available from here in the state as per the requirement. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that large statues which are difficult to make from stone should be made from metal crafts. Universities, academic institutions and institutions related to teaching, training and research in science should also be connected to Veer Bharat Museum. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to make arrangements for cultural presentations in the Rangmandap present in Mahakal Mahalok. He said that this will encourage regional artists and it will also be interesting for the devotees. Various social service works should also be considered to be started by Mahakal temple and other major temples of the state. The possibilities of religious tourism present in the state should also be promoted in other states.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the 300th anniversary celebrations of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai will be celebrated from 20 to 31 May. On this occasion, a meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held at Rajwada Indore on 20 May. Along with this, other events will also be held in Maheshwar, Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Devi Ahilya Bai was a symbol of women empowerment, self-reliance and good governance. A huge conference of women self-help groups of Malwa-Nimar region should be organized under the 300th anniversary celebrations. It was told in the meeting that the function will have an exhibition on the personality and important events of the life of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai, lecture series, exhibition of other regional materials including Maheshwari saree, traditional folk art, drama, singing-playing and dancing. Stalls of regional cuisine of Malwa and Nimar region will also be set up in the function.

The activities going on for the development of Kothi Mahal and premises, the works of Veer Bharat Trust were discussed in the meeting. The subject matter of the galleries to be developed under Veer Bharat Museum was presented in the meeting. The ongoing activities under the Mahadev Murti Kala Karyashala established to promote sculpture of stone, marble, granite and metal etc. in Ujjain were also reviewed. Principal Secretary Culture Shivshekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary Urban Development Sanjay Shukla, Culture Advisor to the Chief Minister Shriram Tiwari, Commissioner-Collector of Ujjain and subject experts were present in the meeting.
