Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar is the Messiah not only of Dalits but of all sections: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the personality of the President of the Indian Constituent Assembly and Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was very great and vast. He was a strong supporter of social unity. Dr. Ambedkar is not only the messiah of Dalits but also of all sections. King Jiwaji Rao Scindia of Gwalior and Maharaja Gaekwad of Baroda also contributed significantly in promoting Dr. Ambedkar. Baba Saheb was given the name Ambedkar by his guru. He respected it throughout his life and took it to the pinnacle.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the district seminar of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan at Ravindra Natya Griha Indore on Tuesday. Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Raje, Urban Administration and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Rajya Sabha MP Ms. Kavita Patidar, former Rajya Sabha member Shri Narayan Singh Kesari, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLAs Shri Mahendra Hardia, Shri Ramesh Mandola, Smt. Malini Gaud, former Mayor Shri Krishnamurari Moghe, Chairman of Safai Kamgar Commission Shri Pratap Karosia, Chairman of Scheduled Caste Finance Development Corporation Shri Sawan Sonkar, Shri Sumit Mishra, Shri Raghavendra Gautam and Dr. Nishant Khare were specially present in the program.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today the Central and State governments are working to spread the works of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar to the masses. The government has developed the place where Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar was born, the place where he received education and all other important places related to him as pilgrimage sites.

Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Raje said that Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was a great leader not only of Dalits but of all classes, whom the whole world listened to. He wanted every person of the country to be educated and progress. He was full of humanity and he looked at everyone with the same vision. The Constitution written by Dr. Ambedkar is not just a document of law but a way of living life, which is being respected all over the world today. She said that Dr. Ambedkar gave the message to the whole world through his education and work that no work is difficult or impossible. His work inspires the society, increases self-confidence and gives a new energy. Dr. Ambedkar has given everyone the opportunity to live life with equality as well as to fly. Former Chief Minister Smt. Raje praised the cleanliness of Indore and said that the people here have made cleanliness their sanskaar. This is the reason why Indore has been number one in cleanliness for 7 consecutive years.

Urban Administration Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, while comparing Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar with South Africa’s black leader Dr. Nelson Mandela and former US President Martin Luther King, said that Dr. Ambedkar made about 80 crore Indians aware about education.

Water Resources Minister Shri Silawat said that Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar is not only the pride of the nation but also of the world. He was a prophet and always raised his voice against injustice. The Centre and the government are working to move forward on the path shown by Dr. Ambedkar. Here, along with Nari Shakti, Yuva Shakti, the poor and the farmers are also being respected.  

Before the program, everyone paid tribute to the innocent people who died in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam by observing two minutes of silence.
