Indore’s ring road project moved forward with the consent of farmers, pillars started being installed on the ground

 Indore (Western Ring Road Project): Under the Western Ring Road Project, the land survey has been completed in all three tehsils of Indore district – Hatod, Depalpur and Sanwer. This survey was stopped for a long time, but it was started again after getting the consent of the farmers. During the survey, the Revenue Department team not only measured the land, but also collected information about all the things like houses, shops, trees, borings, wells and pipelines built on the land to be acquired. Now the work of installing pillars is being done on this land so that the direction of the road can be decided.  This ring road will be 64 km long About 570.5678 hectares of land will be acquired for this 64 km long Western Ring Road to be built from Shipra to Pithampur. Out of this, 98.4979 hectares of land is already government land, on which demarcation and other survey work has already been done.

Officials of the Revenue Department and NHAI (National Highway Authority of India) have together done a complete survey of the land and the things built on it. This will enable farmers to get proper compensation for their land and property. Depalpur SDM Rakesh Mohan Tripathi said that now land is being identified by installing pillars in Depalpur tehsil.  Now the compensation process will move forward After the survey is completed, the process of land acquisition will now be taken forward. For this, CALA (Competent Authority for Land Acquisition) officers appointed by NHAI will issue RRC i.e. land notification on the basis of the survey. After this, the compensation amount will be sent to the farmers’ accounts. 998 farmers will be affected A total of 998 farmers of all three tehsils of Indore will be affected by this project. About 472.0699 hectares of their land will come under this road. Out of these, the maximum 512 farmers are from Sanwer tehsil, 333 from Hatod and 153 from Depalpur. This ring road will pass through a total of 26 villages of these three tehsils. In this, 864 farmers’ land will be taken for the main road and 134 farmers’ land will be taken for the additional road portion.
