Jai Bhim Padyatra: On the eve of 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang took out a padyatra with thousands of youth

Bhopal: On the eve of the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a grand “Jai Bhim Padyatra” was organized under the leadership of Cooperatives, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang. This padyatra started from Bhopal’s Shaurya Smarak and ended at Shaurya Smarak again via Ambedkar Square. Minister Shri Sarang flagged off the Jai Bhim Padyatra from Shaurya Smarak. Tribute was paid by garlanding the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar located at Board Office Square on the Padyatra route. Thousands of youth participated enthusiastically in the padyatra and paid tribute to Baba Saheb with a spirit of patriotism by holding the tricolor in their hands.
Youth should contribute to nation building by imbibing the thoughts of Baba Saheb Addressing the youth before the padyatra, Minister Sarang said that Jai Bhim Padyatra is not just a march but a resolution to imbibe the thoughts of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar and implement them in our lives. It is a source of inspiration for the youth, which inspires them to play an active role in the direction of social justice, equality and nation building. He said that through Jai Bhim Padyatra, we are expressing our gratitude to Baba Saheb, who gave us a constitution which is a symbol of social equality, justice and freedom. If today’s youth imbibes his thoughts, then they can definitely make a meaningful contribution in building a strong nation.
Message given to make people aware of the values of social justice and constitution A large number of youth participated in the padyatra. All the youth, with the tricolour in their hands, resonated the atmosphere with the slogans of “Jai Bhim” and “Jai Bharat” with full enthusiasm and zeal. The aim of organizing the Jai Bhim padyatra on the eve of the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare was to make the youth aware of social equality, justice and constitutional values. It is noteworthy that the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organized the Jai Bhim padyatra across the country on the eve of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. Bhopal Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai, Deputy Advisor National Service Scheme Dr. Ashok Kumar Shruti, Additional Chief Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare Mr. Manu Shrivastava, Sports Director Mr. Rakesh Gupta, State Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Mr. Rakesh Singh Tomar, Regional Director of National Service Scheme, Bhopal Dr. Rajkumar Verma, Joint Director Mr. B.S.
