Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Union Minister Shri Gadkari inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 10 national highway projects worth Rs. 5800 crore

Bhopal: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan and dedicated 10 National Highway Projects and related infrastructure construction works worth Rs. 5800 crores at a program organized in village Kheda of Badnawar in Dhar district on Thursday. Union Minister Shri Gadkari said that Madhya Pradesh has a double engine government. Rapid development is taking place here. With the vision of making everyone happy, prosperous and empowered, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is rapidly taking the state forward on the path of development. He said that highways are not just a road, they are paths of progress that change the lives of people. Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in the last 10 years, we have brought about extensive changes in the infrastructure of the country. The country has to be made the third largest economy of the world, Madhya Pradesh will also participate in this. The zeal for development is visible in M.P., so we will make it the biggest contributor to the development of the country.

Union Minister Shri Gadkari announced that in the next three years we will make the national highway network available in Madhya Pradesh better and more beautiful than America. He said that in the next one year we will complete the construction of national highways and other infrastructure worth more than three lakh crore rupees in the country. He said that for the development of any country or state, four major resources water, energy, transport and infrastructure development are needed and he is happy that Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly on the development of these four resources.

Union Minister approved 6 new projects on the demand of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

On the demand of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Union Minister Shri Gadkari approved the construction and development works of 6 new national highway projects of 400 km length at a cost of Rs 12 thousand crore from the Central Road Fund from the stage itself. The Union Minister also approved the construction work of 5 new Greenfield Economic Corridor, ring road, elevated corridor, bridge and other construction works to be built by NHAI at a cost of Rs 33 thousand crore in Madhya Pradesh and also announced the time limit for completion of these construction works.

Highways are highways that bring happiness

Union Minister Shri Gadkari said that the completion of road projects will lead to development of the region. Youth will get employment and poverty will be eradicated. Farmers will get good prices for their crops. Road connectivity will increase and prosperity will come in people’s lives. He said that highways bring happiness. We will connect every village of Madhya Pradesh with roads, so that everyone here gets the benefit of education, employment, health treatment and development.

All national highway projects will help in successful organisation of Simhastha-2028 : Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Amritkal is going on in the country. Former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee had dreamed of transforming the country, Prime Minister Shri Modi is moving tirelessly towards realizing the same dream of Atal ji. He said that in this Amritkal, our country will emerge as the best country in the world. Roads are a natural measure of development. Therefore, by increasing road connectivity to every village, we are moving rapidly towards bringing change in the lives of the people of Madhya Pradesh. He said that we are trying to make cities as well as villages smart cities by increasing road connectivity. He said that Indore and Bhopal will soon become metropolitan cities. Everyone, be it rural or urban, will get its benefit. Expressing gratitude to Union Minister Shri Gadkari for generously gifting 10 national highway projects worth Rs 5800 crore to Madhya Pradesh, he said that Shri Gadkari is the highway development man of the country. Under his leadership, infrastructure development is taking place rapidly in the country. He said that all these national highway projects directly benefiting the Malwa region will greatly help the government in successfully organizing Simhastha-2028.

Jyotirlinga Mahakaleshwar, Somnath and Omkareshwar will be connected in one thread

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we are moving from heritage to development. We are connecting people by enriching our heritage. With the help of the Central Government, we will keep Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga at the center and connect it with Somnath Jyotirlinga and Omkareshwar in Gujarat. For this, we have demanded from the Central Government. He said that our government will move forward step by step with the Central Government, so that Madhya Pradesh gets the maximum benefit of the nectar of development. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav placed his detailed demand letter before the Union Minister, demanding to further increase the network of national highways in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that whatever we asked for, Union Minister Shri Gadkari gave us everything from time to time, but we will not stop here. In the interest of the state, we will constantly demand for new national projects. We will always strive to establish a strong road network in Madhya Pradesh for better organization of Simhastha: 2028 and easy and smooth movement of devotees.

Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of these road projects took place

Union Minister Shri Gadkari and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the newly constructed 4-lane road on Ujjain-Badnawar section, 4/6 lane Greenfield Highway from Kheda Khajuria to Suhagdi in Ujjain-Garoth, 4/6 lane Greenfield Highway from Suhagdi to Bardia Amra in Ujjain-Garoth, 2-lane road with paved shoulder on Jirapur-Susner-Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan border section and additional 3-lane road with paved shoulder on Bakaner Ghat. Similarly, 4-lane road on Sandalpur-Nasrullaganj section, 2-lane road with paved shoulder on Chanderi-Pichor section, 7 flyovers and underpasses on Indore-Gujarat section, 3 flyovers, underpasses in Shajapur, Kanasiya and MIDC Industrial Area and flyover at Rasalpur Junction were also inaugurated.

Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smt. Savitri Thakur expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Union Minister Shri Gadkari and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for organizing this grand event in village Kheda of Badnawar in tribal-populated Dhar district and said that it is our good fortune. She said that three Jyotirlingas are associated with Dhar. The PM Mitra Park opened in tourist places Mandu and Badnawar will give a new impetus to the development of this area and employment will increase.

Farmers are becoming prosperous due to new national highways: Minister Shri Vijayvargiya

Minister in charge of Urban Development and Housing and Dhar district, Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the infrastructural scenario of the country is changing due to the vision of Union Minister Shri Gadkari. The face of religious places in the country and the state is changing. He said that we are in constant touch with the central government for the organization of Simhastha: 2028. The central government has made the farmers prosperous by building new national highways. He demanded a 4-lane road from Satna to Chitrakoot for the development of Chitrakoot Dham, which was approved by the Union Minister from the stage.

Madhya Pradesh government is paying full attention to quality in road construction: Minister Shri Singh

In his welcome address, Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi, Union Minister Shri Gadkari has laid a network of roads in the country. Describing Shri Gadkari as Vikas Purush, he said that in GIS-2025, NHAI has signed an MoU with the Madhya Pradesh government for development works worth Rs 1 lakh crore. These projects will start appearing on the ground in the next three years. Now trees will not be cut for road construction in Madhya Pradesh, they will be shifted if needed. The Madhya Pradesh government is taking full care of quality in road construction. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, surprise inspection and sampling of development works is also being done on a random basis using technology. In future, Madhya Pradesh will create its new identity for development works.

Union Minister Mr Gadkari, Chief Minister Dr Yadav and other guests also visited the exhibition focused on the inauguration and ground breaking ceremonies of various road projects. Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Mr Nagar Singh Chauhan, MP Mrs Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan, MP Mr Sudhir Gupta, MP Mr Anil Ferozia, MP Mr Shankar Lalwani, MP Mr Gajendra Singh Patel, Rajya Sabha member Mr Banshilal Gurjar, MLA Mr Kalu Singh Chauhan, MLA Mrs Neena Verma, MLA Mr Jitendra Pandya along with other MLAs and local public representatives and a large number of local villagers were present in the program.
