It is important for the young generation to know about the journey of Sahayog Krida Mandal – Minister Patel
Bhopal: Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Department Minister Prahlad Singh Patel inaugurated the All India Pro Kabaddi Tournament by hoisting the national flag and sports flag in Narsinghpur on Monday. The tournament will be organized by Sahayog Krida Mandal Gotegaon and Maninagendra Singh Foundation at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium Gotegaon from January 20 to January 23. In the program, senior citizens who have been involved as associates since the formation of Sahayog Krida Mandal till now were honored by giving shawl and coconut.
Minister Patel said that Sahayog Krida Mandal was formed in the year 1982. Since then, this Krida Mandal has been continuously organizing competitions very well. The contribution of the associates in the event till now is unforgettable. The young generation has to know this tradition of cooperation and the contribution of the associates.
Minister Patel inaugurated the marathon by flagging off at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium. Participants from Itarsi, Maihar, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Chhindwara and Bhopal took part in the marathon.
In the four-day event, Kabaddi competition is being organized in men, women and children (under 14 years) categories. Also, Chaupar, Tawa, Shot and Javelin Throw, High and Long Jump competitions are being organized in men and women categories.
On this occasion, MLA Mahendra Nagesh, former Minister of State Jalam Singh Patel, public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.
