Imam’s Son Chooses Sanatan Dharma in Khargone, Mustafa Chishti Now Maruti Nandan

Khargone: In Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday, Ale Mustafa Chishti, the son of Iqbal Ali, who had served as the imam of the Bhama Ghar mosque for many years, embraced Hinduism. After performing the 10 ritual baths and tonsuring ceremony at the Mahadevgarh temple, Mustafa participated in a purification yajna and received the name Maruti Nandan. He offered water to the Shiva Lingam and prayed to Lord Shiva and also sang the Hanuman Aarti. He shared that his spiritual awakening and belief in world peace led him to embrace Hinduism voluntarily, stating, “There is only one path for spiritual awakening and global well-being – Sanatan Dharma, which is why I embraced it without any pressure.” Mustafa, now Maruti Nandan, mentioned that he had been inclined towards Sanatan Dharma for a long time, believing that in today’s world, only Sanatan could bring peace. He was inspired after witnessing the transformations of people like Rahul, who converted from Firoz, and Ishwar, who had embraced Hinduism from Imran. His decision to convert was a personal choice after seeing their journeys. He also encouraged other young people to embrace Sanatan Dharma for both their own and the world’s well-being, noting that their ancestors’ DNA connects to figures like Ram and Krishna.
The temple caretaker, Ashok Paliwal, mentioned that many families, inspired by their ancestors, worship Ram and Krishna at home, and it is crucial to encourage them to return to their roots. This work has been carried out by many saints like Ramanandacharya. In the past year, 40 Muslim youth, both men and women, have embraced Sanatan Dharma at the Mahadevgarh temple. Meanwhile, 524 girls have embarked on a journey to Haridwar under the guidance of Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Parivar, Shantikunj Haridwar, as part of the “Dham Badlenge-Yug Badlega” movement. Led by Ajay Lad and Jagdish Samandiya, the girls will travel through Mathura and the birthplace of Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, Awal Kheda, before reaching Shantikunj. There, they will undergo a nine-day training session to later contribute to large-scale public awareness efforts. This training will focus on raising awareness through the “Yug Nirman Yojana”—promoting individual, family, society, and nation-building.
