Chief Minister Sai rode a bike wearing a helmet: Gave a message of road safety

Traffic awareness rally organized under National Road Safety Month

Raipur 16 January 2025: During the 36th National Road Safety Month being celebrated in the state, today Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while riding a bike wearing a helmet, gave a message to the people of the state to wear helmets and follow the rules of traffic rules. Chief Minister Sai today reached Rohinipuram Gol Chowk in the capital Raipur and participated in the bike rally. He appealed to two-wheeler drivers as well as four-wheeler drivers to follow traffic rules. During this, Sai also flagged off the grand bike rally. During the rally, voluntary organizations also made people aware about the benefits of following traffic rules through street plays. Chief Minister Sai said on this occasion that human life is very precious. Man has responsibilities towards his family and society, which he has to discharge. He said that all of us are precious to our families and no one else can ever replace us. Therefore, it is our duty to keep ourselves and our family members safe. The Chief Minister said that all of us must follow traffic rules while driving. Helmets must be worn while driving two-wheelers and seat belts must be worn while driving cars. The Chief Minister expressed concern over the deaths occurring every year in road accidents and called it a loss to the country and the state.He said that these accidents happen due to non-compliance of traffic rules. Chief Minister  Sai said that driving at limited speed reduces the chances of accidents due to better control over the vehicle.

He said that one should never drive after consuming intoxicants. He gave a message to all the people of the state to follow the traffic rules so that along with their lives, the lives of other people are also safe and family and social responsibilities can be fully discharged. It is noteworthy that the 36th National Road Safety Month is being celebrated till 31 January 2025. Under this, Raipur Traffic Police is giving information to the people about the rules necessary for safe driving. People are being informed about traffic rules by putting banners and posters on the theme of road safety-life saving in an interesting way. Police and administration are also organizing various programs at different places on different days for this entire campaign. Participation of drivers, local citizens and parents of students is also being ensured in these programs. On this occasion, Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Lal Ummed Singh, senior officers of police and transport department and a large number of dignitaries were present.
