Municipal Corporation is preparing to provide safe playing space for children and youth in the form of Box Sports Complex at 5 places in the capital soon

Raipur – Under the leadership of the Chief Minister of the state, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and the guidance of Deputy Chief Minister of Urban Administration and Development Department, Shri Arun Saw, the Raipur Municipal Corporation is working at a fast pace in the capital city Raipur area with a view to expand the facilities of the general public under the guidance of Raipur District Administration in accordance with the public welfare intention of the Urban Administration and Development Department of the State Government. Under this, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and as per the instructions of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Abinash Mishra, Municipal Corporation Raipur is preparing to provide public facilities to children and youth residing in slum settlements to play at safe places at 5 different places in the capital city soon. In this, the public facility of Box Sports Complex will soon be made available to children and youth at 3 different places including Kachana Satyam Nagar Ground in Corporation Zone 9 area, one place each in Zone 5 and Zone 6. For this, expression of interest was called through tender in all zones.

On the proposal received in this, preparations are being made to provide Box Sports Complex soon at 3 places in Corporation Zone 9, one place each in Zone 5 and 6. For this, it will be operated and maintained by the contracted agency for 3 years. The agency can advertise the agency on a unipole and the Box Sports Complex will be constructed as per the terms of the contract in overbridge, ground, vacant government land, garden etc. and after completion of the operation period, the agency will hand over the concerned site to Raipur Municipal Corporation.
