Health officer imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the cleaning contractor, heaps of garbage and dirt were found during inspection

Raipur – Today, as per the instructions of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Abinash Mishra, Municipal Corporation Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi conducted a surprise inspection of the sanitation system in the area of ​​Thakkar Bapa Ward No. 17 of Municipal Corporation Zone 1. During the inspection, less number of sanitation workers than the prescribed number were found on duty in ward 17. Piles of dirt and garbage were found. On this, the health officer has issued an immediate notice to the concerned ward number 17’s sanitation contractor Mr. Amar Jha and imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000 and directed the sanitation contractor to submit his report within 3 days. If this is repeated again in the ward, the corporation health officer has warned the concerned sanitation contractor to take action to cancel the contract on the spot after the approval of the Municipal Corporation Commissioner.
