The department is expected to release an official notice within the next two days. The minister explained that there are currently 374 vacant positions for Anganwadi workers and 6,185 assistant roles across all districts in the state. Recently, the cabinet made changes to the recruitment rules for Anganwadi positions, clearing the way for these new hires. The minister has instructed the department to issue the notice within the next day or two.
Women applicants will have 30 days to apply. Minister Rekha Arya shared that the application process will be conducted online, giving women candidates about 30 days to submit their applications. She has also directed department officials to expedite the recruitment process.
