Four advanced trades will be started in GSP with the cooperation of IIT Delhi and IIT Ropar

In the presence of Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment Gautam Tetwal and MSME Minister Chaitanya Kashyap, MoUs were signed between GSP and IIT Delhi and IIT Ropar to start four advanced trades in Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park (GSP). Under this initiative, advanced trades like Cyber and Network Security, Animation-Motion Graphics, Gaming Technology and AR and VR will be started soon, which will provide global level technical education to the youth of the state. Also, the National Defense University will provide its expertise in the field of Cyber and Network Security. Under the agreement with IIT Ropar, short-term courses related to drone technology will be run. These will include courses like DGCA Certified Drone Pilot Training, GIS for Drone Data Processing, Drones in Agriculture, Drones and Disaster Management, Aerial Cinematography, Python for GIS and Drone Building.
Minister Mr. Gautam Tetwal said that this is an important step of the department, in which the youth are being made self-reliant by providing them global level technical education and skills. In the Global Skills Park, students will not only be trained, but they will also get excellent employment opportunities. This step will make the future of the youth of our state even brighter. He also told that the objective of this initiative is to prepare Indian youth for the competitive environment of the world. By receiving this training, the youth will be able to get employment in excellent institutions. Also, by starting self-employment, they will also become employers of other youth. He also said that this institute is a great opportunity for those youth who are unable to study in big private institutions by paying fees of lakhs. Here, talented youth from the poorest of the poor can make their dreams come true. In this institute, only 15 thousand rupees are charged as fee against one and a half lakh. Minister Mr. Tetwal also met the students. He spent a lot of time with the students and learned about their experience regarding training. Minister Chaitanya Kashyap said that this is a new beginning, in which we are going to unite the youth of the state and give them better skills and training. Through these courses, we are making them technical experts as well as increasing their employment opportunities. It is important for us that we provide every youth with skills and a better future. Contracts have been signed with IIT Delhi and National Defense University, Gandhinagar for conducting these courses in Global Skills Park.
On this special occasion, the two ministers flagged off the vehicle of the faculty team going to Singapore for training. This team will go to Singapore’s prestigious institute ITEES and get training. After getting training from Singapore, the faculty members will be able to train the youth of the state according to the international competitive environment. Along with this, Yuva Sangam vehicle was also flagged off. This vehicle will reach different districts and give information to the youth about the various trades going on in the ITI and Global Skill Park of the state.
