The deadline to complete the tenders for the purchase of all sports equipment and other resources related to the 38th National Games has been fixed by 25 December so that after that, work can be done to make the sports event grand in the remaining one month. These instructions were issued in a meeting held at the Sports Directorate. Uttarakhand Olympic Association also participated in the meeting.
Association General Secretary DK Singh said that the preparations of the state and the association are going in the right direction. The association will request the Games Technical Conduct Committee (GTCC) appointed by the Indian Olympic Association to visit the sports venues prepared for 34 games so that it can allow the final selection of the venues as soon as possible or give suggestions in time.
Along with this, a letter has also been sent to the Railways requesting to run special trains. Players from all over the country will participate in the state. Therefore, special arrangements will be made for the movement of the players. Along with this, instructions have been given to make special arrangements to welcome players, former players and guests at the airport and railway stations of the state.
