Govardhan Puja connects us with nature, all gods reside in cow mother: Food Minister Rajput
Bhopal. Govardhan Puja is a symbol of our cultural religious prosperity. This worship shows our relationship with nature. As per the wish of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, programs of Govardhan Puja and Gau-Puja have been organized in the entire state so that citizens can be connected with Sanatan tradition and culture. This was said by Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput at Acharya Vidyasagar Gau-Samvardhan Kendra Ratona District Sagar during the district level Govardhan Puja and Gau-Puja program organized by District Gaupalan and Pashudhan Samvardhan Samiti in Sagar.
Minister Shri Rajput said that Govardhan Puja and Gau-Puja have been happening since ancient times. The government has organized it in the entire state on a government level to connect people with ancient traditions and our cultural heritage. All gods reside in cow mother. All gods are worshipped by serving the cow. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is continuously promoting our Sanatani traditions and culture by participating in cultural and religious programs. Shastra Puja was started on Dussehra.
Minister Shri Rajput said that Acharya Vidyasagar was God. Wherever his feet fell, salvation has been happening. Acharya ji has given a lot to Sagar. Today we have to take Sagar’s development forward by following his footsteps.
Sagar MLA Shri Shailendra Jain said that Govardhan Puja has now been organized in the entire state as a government program, so that people connect with our traditions. The coming generation can also know about our traditions. Naryaavali MLA Shri Pradeep Lariya said that in our culture, trees, stones, mountains are all worshipped. Govardhan Puja is a unique example of our culture.
