Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a round table meeting with investors in Kolkata
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there are immense possibilities of investment in Madhya Pradesh. Investors Summit is being held in various cities of the country with the aim of exploring investment opportunities in these possibilities and attracting investors. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this during the round table meeting focused on steel and alloy manufacturing, logistics, hosiery and textile and NASSCOM at the Investors Summit in Kolkata. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told all the investors that raw material from the state goes to other states and countries. Our efforts are to develop a production chain in the state itself from the raw material going from the state to other places. This will also increase employment opportunities in the state and open new doors of prosperity.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the necessary permissions and approvals will soon be provided to the investors for setting up production units in the state. He informed that all the necessary practical difficulties are being removed for setting up industries in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also sought amendments and suggestions in policies for setting up industries in the state from all investors. He invited investors to invest in various sectors in Madhya Pradesh. All investors appreciated the efforts being made by Chief Minister Yadav to increase investment in the state. Investors showed interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh.
4 round table meetings were held on hosiery and textile manufacturing, logistics, steel and alloy manufacturing and IT/ITES (NASSCOM). The objective of the Hosiery and Textile Round Table Meeting was to provide effective impetus to the industrial development of hosiery and readymade garment sector in Madhya Pradesh. The meeting discussed the local ecosystem and innovation opportunities, in which the participants talked about increasing investment in PM Mitra Park, challenges and possible solutions.
The objective of the Logistics Round Table Meeting was to provide effective impetus to the industrial development of the logistics sector in Madhya Pradesh. The meeting emphasized the need for new investment and innovation in the logistics ecosystem, as well as discussed investment opportunities and infrastructure development in Indore Multi-Modal Logistics Park.
The aim of the Steel and Alloy Manufacturing Round Table Meeting was to provide effective impetus to the industrial development of the steel and mining sector in Madhya Pradesh. In the meetings, discussions were held on policies helpful in setting up the industry and strengthening the ecosystem for the sector.
In the round table meeting, discussions were held with NASSCOM on establishing Madhya Pradesh as an emerging IT and ITES hub. Emphasis was laid on various requirements for IT infrastructure in the state and attracting investments in IT, ITES and ESDM in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also had a networking dinner with investors.
