Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that there are immense possibilities of industrial development in the Vindhya region and effective steps are being taken by the state government to realize it. He said that events like Regional Industry Conclave (RIC) are very relevant in today’s time, as it is becoming an important medium to bring balance in industrial development by presenting investment possibilities on the basis of regional characteristics. Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, this initiative is providing a new direction to the overall development of the state. Its fifth edition is being organized in Rewa on 23 October. Earlier, conclaves have been successfully organized in Ujjain, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Sagar. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla discussed with media representatives at Mantralaya Vallabh Bhawan.
Vindhya region is an ideal destination for investors
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that modern and strong infrastructure, roads, railways and airways are being continuously expanded for industrial development in the Vindhya region, making this region an ideal destination for investors. The abundance of natural resources like cement, minerals and surplus power in the region makes it extremely suitable for industrial activities.
More than 4 thousand investors have registered
The Deputy Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, a favorable environment for investors has been created in the state with “Ease of Doing Business”, “Single Window Clearance” and industrial support initiatives. Due to this positive environment, so far more than 4,000 investors have registered for this conclave to be held in Rewa.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that more than 9,000 hectares of land bank is available for industries in the Vindhya region. In this conclave, special attention will be given to investment in IT, tourism, mining, MSME, cottage industry, and agriculture sector. There are immense possibilities of tourism in Vindhya region, whose development will contribute significantly to the economic development of the state. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla expressed confidence that this conclave will write a new chapter in the development of Vindhya region.
