Bhopal. Get all necessary work done so that waterlogging situation does not occur again in the lower settlements of Gwalior suburb. Encourage local residents to install roof water harvesting. Water harvesting system should also be installed in the park of New Colony No.-3. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar gave these instructions while taking stock of the improvement works done after heavy rains and waterlogging in New Colony No.-3 under Ward-16.

Minister Shri Tomar, during his visit to New Colony No.-3 on Sunday, instructed the officials of Municipal Corporation and other related departments present on the spot to promptly resolve the problems related to road, sewer, water and electricity. He said that sewer cleaning should be done on special priority basis. He said that all necessary steps should be taken so that waterlogging situation does not occur again and again.

When local residents complained about anti-social elements gathering in the park, Minister Shri Tomar instructed the city Superintendent of Police Shri Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, who was present on the spot, to conduct regular police patrolling in this area. He instructed to install additional new street lights in this area as per the need. Get the street lights which are not working repaired.
