Common citizens should become a part of this great movement to save nature: Chief Minister Sai
Raipur/Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s innovative initiative “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” for environmental protection and promotion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai started the “Ek Ped Mahtari Ke Naam” Maha Abhiyan in Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, he appealed to the common citizens to become a part of this great movement to save nature. The Chief Minister flagged off the Ek Ped Mahtari Ke Naam Rath. Commerce Industry and Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan, Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal were also present in the program.
While starting the campaign in the Chief Minister’s residence complex, Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated 94.3 My FM and said that he is starting the “Ek Ped Mahtari Ke Naam” campaign to take this innovative initiative to the people. Appealing to the common people of the state with the initiative of My FM to make Chhattisgarh Mahtari green, the Chief Minister said that everyone should join this campaign and plant a tree. We will plant trees while worshiping the mother power in Dantewada, Ratanpur, Dongargarh, Chandrapur and Kudargarh, the holy land of our mother power goddesses. All of you should become a part of this great movement to save nature. This effort of all of you will prove to be a milestone. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also distributed seeds of different varieties of plants to school children and encouraged them to plant trees.
