Indian democracy is an example for the world: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the strength of Indian democracy is that even an ordinary person can occupy the highest position. While democracy is suffering in India’s neighboring country Pakistan, Indian democracy is presented as an ideal example in the world. The efforts of Parliamentary Vidyapeeth to impart parliamentary knowledge to the students are unique. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was today giving away prizes for various competitions organized by Pandit Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that through the annual prize distribution program in the Mansarovar Auditorium of the MP Legislative Assembly, Parliamentary Vidyapeeth has provided an important platform to the students. Dr. Yadav said that if we look at the ancient history of India, we find examples of creation of districts, change of power and placing another person on the throne in the changed system. From the Chandragupta era to the attainment of independence, many ideals of working for the honor of the nation have been established. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose chose to serve the nation instead of taking up a job even after being in the merit list of the ICS examination. In our country, in 1975, the system was transformed through the power of the youth. India’s democracy has emerged stronger with the passage of time.
Presiding over the programme, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that we should be proud of the democratic system. Many times difficulties arise in running this system, but our resolve should be to overcome the difficulties and achieve the steps of success. India is the largest democracy in the world. Our endeavour should be that the name of India’s democracy continues to be respected. Democracy is in our veins. The role of Pandit Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth is commendable so that the new generation also gets knowledge of the features and systems of democracy. The Vidyapeeth should make efforts to show the students the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha along with the Vidhan Sabha. This will make the students familiar with the parliamentary traditions.
Shri Tomar said that the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha has a rich library. Also, documents are being digitized here. Shri Tomar said that it is the specialty of Indian democracy that when the counting of votes takes place after the voting, the results are obtained within a few hours. Many countries do not have such a system. Shri Tomar said that many changes have taken place in the last decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. There will be development in all areas with the goal of making India a world leader by the year 2047. In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is also working with determination for rapid progress.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the Central Government has praised Madhya Pradesh in the recent statistical survey. Youth Parliament and other events organized by Parliamentary Vidyapeeth are commendable. The knowledge of today’s young generation is increasing. Our youth are talented. They should be given due respect with full opportunity. Additional Chief Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Shri K.C. Gupta and Principal Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Shri A.P. Singh also addressed. A large number of students were present including Vice Chancellor of Bhopal Barkatullah University Prof. Suresh Kumar Jain.
