On Sunday, the maximum temperature recorded at Delhi’s Standard Observatory Safdarjung was 44.4 degrees Celsius, which is 4 degrees Celsius more than normal. This was the hottest day of this season. There has been a significant increase in day as well as night temperatures. The minimum temperature recorded in Safdarjung was 28.2 degrees Celsius, which is 2 degrees more than normal.

In some areas of Delhi, the heat and scorching heat did not let people’s sweat dry. On Sunday, the maximum temperature of Mungeshpur, Pitampura and Najafgarh was 7 degrees above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Rajghat area was 31.1 degrees Celsius, which is the highest in the capital.
