Red alert of heat wave in Delhi for next 2 days

Delhi . The heat wave made the people of Delhi miserable. Najafgarh area was the hottest in the country. The maximum temperature recorded was 47.8 degrees Celsius. Also, Sunday was the hottest of the season. The Meteorological Department has also issued a red alert of heat wave and heat in the capital for the next two days.

The sun has become harsher in the capital since last 5 days. It became difficult for people to leave their homes during the day due to the scorching heat and heat. On Sunday, the maximum temperature recorded at Delhi’s Standard Observatory Safdarjung was 44.4 degrees Celsius, which is 4 degrees Celsius more than normal. This was the hottest day of this season. There has been a significant increase in day as well as night temperatures. The minimum temperature recorded in Safdarjung was 28.2 degrees Celsius, which is 2 degrees more than normal.

In some areas of Delhi, the heat and scorching heat did not let people’s sweat dry. On Sunday, the maximum temperature of Mungeshpur, Pitampura and Najafgarh was 7 degrees above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Rajghat area was 31.1 degrees Celsius, which is the highest in the capital.
