51 people from MP stranded in Kedarnath airlifted to safety: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that out of 61 passengers from MP stranded in Kedarnath during the Chardham Yatra, 51 passengers have been airlifted to Rudraprayag today. The remaining 10 passengers are at a safe place in Kedarnath itself.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a total of 61 people from Badarwas area of Shivpuri had gone to Kedarnath in a bus and other four-wheelers, who got stuck there due to landslide. The state government contacted the Uttarakhand government and got them airlifted and 51 passengers were rescued by helicopter and brought to Rudraprayag. The remaining passengers are in Kedarnath area itself and are safe. The state government is in constant touch with the Uttarakhand government.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is trying to ensure that no passenger faces any trouble. This incident has happened due to rain-induced difficulties during our religious journey. All the passengers are safe.
