Raipur, 16 April 2025 l Newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Limited, Rajiv Agarwal took charge today at Udyog Bhawan located at Telibandha. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated him and wished him. The Chief Minister expressed hope that under his leadership, CSIDC will do better work in creating an industrial environment in the state. Rajiv Agarwal has held many posts. His experiences will take the industry to new heights. The new industrial policy in the state will lead to the development of the state. Chief Minister Sai said that at present investment proposals worth Rs 4.50 lakh crore have been received. Adequate availability of minerals, electricity and water in the state will provide an opportunity for industries to flourish.
With a view to providing all the necessary facilities to sector based industries in Chhattisgarh state under the Commerce and Industry Department, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced Rs 350 crore for setting up electronic manufacturing cluster in 322 acres in village Patewa of Rajnandgaon district, Rs 25 crore for setting up special manufacturing cluster in 50 acres in village Bijetla of Rajnandgaon district, Rs 30 crore for readymade garment park in 20 acres in Nava Raipur and Rs 40 crore for setting up furniture cluster in 30 acres in Nava Raipur. In this way, 4 smart industrial parks will be established at a total cost of Rs 445 crore. A favorable and positive environment will be created for the development of industries in Chhattisgarh state.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh congratulated the newly appointed Speaker and said that Silver Jubilee year is being celebrated on completion of 25 years of formation of Chhattisgarh state. The new industrial policy of the state will help in better development of industries and the state will develop rapidly. The newly appointed Chairman of CSIDC, Shri Rajiv Agarwal said that the industrial policy of the state will play an important role in making the state developed. Recently, the Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the manufacture of semiconductor products in Nava Raipur. As Chairman, Shri Rajiv Agarwal said that he would discharge his duties with devotion.
