Bhopal. Indian Junior Hockey Team won the bronze medal in the 12th Sultan of Johor Cup held in Johor Baru, Malaysia. Three players of Madhya Pradesh State Men’s Hockey Academy Priyavart, Ankit Pal and Mohammad Konan Dad played an important role in this success.
Along with these three players, other players of Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy Mohammad Zaid, Sundaram Singh Rajawat and Mohit Karma are also included in the Indian Junior Core Group:
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang congratulated the players on this achievement and said that this medal is the result of hard work and dedication of the players of our state academy. All the players are training under the guidance of the academy’s chief coach Olympian Sameer Dad and assistant coaches Lokendra Sharma and Habib Hasan.
