Shweta Tiwari: Shweta Tiwari and Urvashi Dholakia: The Truth Behind Their Alleged Feud Back in 2001, Shweta Tiwari began her acting career with the hit TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, a show that also brought Urvashi Dholakia immense fame. Both actresses became household names overnight, with Shweta playing the lead role of Prerna and Urvashi making a mark as the iconic antagonist, Komolika. Their on-screen rivalry was intense, and fans loved their fiery clashes. Did Shweta Tiwari and Urvashi Dholakia Really Have a Feud? For years, rumors suggested that their animosity wasn’t just limited to the screen but extended to real life as well. Many believed the two actresses didn’t get along off-screen, leading to speculations of a cold war between them. However, after 24 years, Urvashi Dholakia has finally addressed these rumors and set the record straight. Urvashi Dholakia Opens Up After 24 Years In an interview with TellyChakkar, Urvashi candidly spoke about her relationship with Shweta and dismissed the long-standing rumors. “There was nothing major between us. What happened was something that often occurs between two leading actresses,” she explained.

She further added, “None of the show’s promos featured me. They were always centered around the lead characters. In the show, there were two leads—one protagonist and one antagonist. It was clear from the beginning that I played the negative role, and that’s where the differences started.”  Urvashi Praises Shweta’s Professionalism Despite the past speculations, Urvashi had only good things to say about Shweta’s dedication. “She’s extremely professional. She completely immerses herself in her character. She was always vocal about her role, and even now, she remains the same,” Urvashi said. She also shared that they recently collaborated on a project, and she realized that Shweta hadn’t changed at all. “I was thinking to myself—Shweta is exactly the same! As for disagreements, they happen between everyone. Sometimes, people don’t see eye to eye, and relationships go through rough patches. Back then, we were young actors—I was only 21. At that age, it’s easy to get irritated or upset over small things.” With this revelation, Urvashi has finally put an end to years of speculation, proving that their so-called feud was nothing more than professional differences that were blown out of proportion.
