Yuvraj Singh is Back! The Cricket Legend Joins India Masters for IML 2025

The King of Sixes Returns to the Field – Cricket fans, get ready to relive the magic! Yuvraj Singh, one of India’s greatest all-rounders, is making a grand comeback to the field. He will be representing India Masters in the first-ever International Masters League (IML), which will take place from February 22 to March 16, 2025. Yuvraj has given fans countless unforgettable moments, but nothing tops his legendary six sixes in an over against Stuart Broad in the 2007 T20 World Cup. He was also a key player in India’s 2011 World Cup triumph, where his outstanding all-round performance earned him the prestigious Player of the Tournament award.

“Feels Like Living the Old Days Again!” – Yuvraj Singh – Talking about his return to the game, Yuvraj shared his excitement:
“Stepping onto the field again with Sachin and my former teammates feels like reliving those golden days of cricket. It brings back so many amazing memories! For me, IML is a way to celebrate that incredible era of Indian cricket. I can’t wait to create more special moments for the fans who have stood by us all these years.”

IML 2025: A Reunion of Cricket Legends – Yuvraj is not the only superstar joining IML. Other cricketing greats like JP Duminy from South Africa and Upul Tharanga from Sri Lanka are also part of the tournament.

JP Duminy to Lead South Africa Masters

South Africa’s JP Duminy, famous for his elegant batting, calm presence under pressure, and useful off-spin bowling, will be leading the South Africa Masters team. With over 9,000 international runs and experience as South Africa’s T20 captain, Duminy was always a dependable match-winner. Sharing his excitement, Duminy said:
“It’s an honor to represent South Africa Masters in the first season of IML. Playing alongside some of the greatest cricketers is going to be an incredible experience. Fans can expect thrilling, high-energy cricket!”

Upul Tharanga to Lead Sri Lanka Masters

Sri Lanka’s stylish opener Upul Tharanga, who scored over 9,000 international runs, will be leading the Sri Lanka Masters team. Known for his solid technique and ability to anchor the innings, Tharanga was a key player for his team over the years. Talking about IML, Tharanga said:
“I am excited to represent Sri Lanka Masters in the first-ever IML. This tournament will be special, as old teammates and rivals come together once again to bring back the thrill of classic cricket!”

IML 2025: A Must-Watch for Cricket Fans! –  The International Masters League kicks off on February 22, 2025, with matches scheduled in Navi Mumbai, Rajkot, and Raipur. Fans can expect high-intensity matches, nostalgic moments, and some of their favorite cricket legends back in action.
