Xiaomi’s electric car became popular as soon as it was launched

Chinese consumer electronics company Xiaomi’s first electric car SU7 has received good response from customers. More than one lakh bookings have been made for this EV. Last month the company launched it in China. Its minimum range is about 700 kilometers. The company has started its delivery from Wednesday. Xiaomi said that its initial delivery of about 5,000 units will be made. However, the remaining customers will have to wait for seven months for the delivery of SU7. Its price in China is less than Tesla’s Model 3.

Difficulties increased for Tesla and BYD
Xiaomi SU7 electric car, which is priced lower than Tesla Model 3 in China, is also capable of competing with Tesla Roadster. Xiaomi SU7 EV has been launched in 4 variants, which include an entry-level version, a Pro variant, a Max version as well as a limited Founders Edition.

Performance of Xiaomi SU7
The company claims that the top speed of its top-end Max variant is around 265 kmph. It can reach speed from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.78 seconds. Its limited Founders Edition has dual motor and four-wheel powertrain. It gives power of about 986 bhp. It can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 1.98 seconds. The range on a single charge of its max variant is about 810 kilometers and that of the base variant is about 700 kilometers.
