Women are becoming lakhpatis by joining Bihaan

Raipur. The schemes run by the government to make women economically strong and self-reliant are proving to be meaningful on the ground. In this episode, Manju Rajwade, a resident of Lakhanpur development block of Surguja district, has brought to fruition the story of becoming a successful entrepreneur with her hard work and determination. Her story has inspired many women of the area and she has emerged as an example in the form of Lakhpati Didi.

Lakhpati Didi Manju Rajwade told that her husband Rupchand Rajwade is involved in agriculture work. She told that earlier her financial condition at home was not so good. She was struggling with the responsibility of the family and financial constraints. During this time, Manju Rajwade got information about Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission Bihaan Yojana and by joining the Bihaan Yojana, there has been a big change in her lifestyle.

It is worth noting that Manju Rajwade formed the “Khushi Self-Help Group” along with 10 women of the village. Through the women’s group, they started saving small amounts by opening a bank account. First of all, they got a revolving fund of Rs 15,000 for business. With this, they opened a small grocery shop in their kutcha house. With hard work and determination, the grocery shop started doing well. Due to continuous transactions with the bank, their credit kept increasing. Due to which they took their business further by taking a loan from the bank. They started with a small shop in the village. Today, along with the grocery shop, they have also opened a shop of slippers, shoes and clothes. With hard work and toil, they have also built their own concrete house. Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission has brought a big change in their lifestyle. Currently, their annual savings reach up to one lakh rupees.

By joining the Bihan Yojana of Chhattisgarh Government, Mrs. Rajwade is included in the list of Lakhpati Didi today. She expressed her happiness by thanking the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister for providing employment and making women self-reliant. Women are fulfilling their dreams by joining the ambitious scheme of Chhattisgarh Government.
