Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that with the blessings of sisters, we will make Madhya Pradesh the number one state of the country. The affection of sisters on Rakshabandhan is the biggest blessing. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was talking to the sisters present in the Ladli Behna Rakshabandhan program organized at Raghunandan Garden Panwasa, Suman Garden and Shivanjali Garden in Ujjain today.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the flag of the world’s largest democracy India is flying all over the world. The world is looking towards India and Indian culture. He said that I believe that the government should be concerned with the society. The government should walk hand in hand with the society. The Chief Minister said that even before the Rakshabandhan festival, the government has deposited Rs 250 as Rakshabandhan shagun in the accounts of one crore 29 lakh Ladli sisters of the state in addition to the amount of Rs 1250 received every month. The Chief Minister said that the government will continue to work as per the expectations of the people. He said that the entire city of Ujjain is immersed in joy today on Raksha Bandhan. It is the good fortune of all of us that we are residents of Ujjain, the city of Lord Mahakal.

In the beginning, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp along with the guests and also worshipped the girls. The sisters presented a big Rakhi to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav as a symbol and the sisters present also tied Rakhi on the wrist of their brother Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The Chief Minister also presented gifts to all the sisters on Raksha Bandhan. The Chief Minister also swung the sisters with his own hands and welcomed them by showering flowers on them.

Minister in charge of the district Mr. Gautam Tetwal, MP Mr. Ferozia, Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Umeshnathji and MLA Mr. Jain addressed the gathering and wished the sisters a Happy Raksha Bandhan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also planted a sapling at the event venue under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign.
