Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state is continuously moving ahead in the direction of “heritage as well as development”. The resolve for development is being further strengthened by organizing cabinet meetings and major programs in the karmabhoomi of the people’s leader who has made the state proud. The excellent works and golden aspects done by Rani Durgavati of Gondwana, Maharaja Vikramaditya in Malwa, Queen Lokmata Ahilyabai of Nimar and now the people’s leader Raja Bhabhut Singh ji are being brought alive before the society.
Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of various development works of Tourism Development Corporation organized at Hotel Amaltas in Pachmarhi on Tuesday. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of tourism development works worth more than 33 crores. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that Pachmarhi Garden will now be known as Raja Bhabhut Singh Garden. Similarly, the name of Pachmarhi Government College will also be Raja Bhabhut Singh College. He announced to build a tribal museum in Pachmarhi and to build a waiting room and tin shed at the sacred place of Korku society. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that a decision has been taken to build a logistics park in Narmadapuram. This park will bring new gifts of development in the area.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Pachmarhi is known throughout the country and the world for its unmatched natural beauty. This region, along with its natural beauty, also contains many historical facts. The Madhya Pradesh government is removing the obstacles coming in the way of Pachmarhi’s development and is developing it as the most popular tourist destination. The state government has opened the doors for the development of Pachmarhi.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the memory of Jan Nayak Raja Bhabhut Singh Ji, a symbol of valor and sacrifice, the Madhya Pradesh government decided to hold a cabinet meeting in Pachmarhi through which his valor and valor is being brought to the society. Raja Bhabhut Singh was a man of great personality. He fought with the British with full valor without being afraid and set an excellent example of patriotism. Raja Bhabhut Singh will always remain immortal in our memory and culture. He said that today is also a proud moment for the descendants of Raja Bhabhut Singh.
Gift of Trex Cruiser vehicles for Jungle Safari
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav flagged off 11 Trek Cruiser vehicles for jungle safari facility. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department has given a new gift to wildlife lovers and tourists. A total of 11 Trek Cruiser vehicles have been purchased in the first phase. These 9-seater Trek Cruiser vehicles are very comfortable. All these vehicles will be made available in various units of Tourism Corporation, which will make the experience of jungle safari even more exciting and comfortable.
Inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth more than Rs. 33.88 crore
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated 5 works of the Tourism Department completed at a cost of Rs 12.49 crore. These include pink toilet lounge constructed at Jatashankar and Pandav Caves at a cost of Rs 19 lakh, pathways developed on both sides of the roads in the Jayastambh area at a cost of Rs 10 crore, water supply pipeline and pump house from Jalgali at a cost of Rs 60 lakh in Dhoopgarh, beautification of Pachmarhi entrance gate at a cost of Rs 35 lakh, and kitchen, restaurant renovation and swimming pool construction at Satpura Retreat at a cost of Rs 1.35 crore.
The Chief Minister also performed the Bhoomi Pujan of 6 proposed development works at a cost of Rs 21.39 crore. These works include development of tourist facilities and security infrastructure at Handikho at a cost of Rs 1.98 crore, development of basic amenities in Satpura Tiger Reserve area at a cost of Rs 2.13 crore, establishment of RO water supply plant for polythene free Pachmarhi at a cost of Rs 34 lakh, work of converting Hilltop Bungalow into a homestay at a cost of Rs 6.70 crore, development of community center at a cost of Rs 9.90 crore, and establishment of central nursery at Glen View at a cost of Rs 34 lakh.
