Wife of soldier not getting full pension, requested help from Chief Minister in Jandarshan
Raipur. Mrs. Lalita Sahu, wife of late Baldev Singh Sahu, a soldier posted in Punjab, met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai in Jandarshan today and requested help to get the full pension amount. Mrs. Sahu, who came from Durg, told the Chief Minister that her husband was posted as a Naik in Punjab in the Indian Army. He died and she returned to Chhattisgarh from Punjab with her family. She used to get the full pension amount in Punjab but after coming to Chhattisgarh, she is not getting the full pension here. The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government will not let the family of a patriot, especially a soldier, suffer. He has directed the concerned officials to take immediate action, so that Mrs. Sahu’s problem can be resolved soon. Mrs. Sahu thanked the Chief Minister for this sensitive initiative.
