In an interview with ETimes, Shreyas explained that the character of Pushpa Raj in the film is shown to drink, chew tobacco, and occasionally smoke. To match the character’s rugged persona, he decided to keep cotton in his mouth during dubbing. Shreyas added, “I haven’t met Allu Arjun yet, nor have I spoken to him. So, I haven’t received any feedback from him.” However, he expressed a desire to know what Allu thought of his voice work. In the previous film, Allu had praised Shreyas for his dubbing, and the actor hopes for similar feedback this time. Shreyas Talpade’s 14 Dubbing Sessions: Shreyas further shared that when he started working on Pushpa 2, he was quite nervous and felt a little strange. During the dubbing for the first part, no one knew how things would turn out, but when the movie received a fantastic response, there was more pressure this time. Despite the pressure, Shreyas was determined to put in his best effort. He revealed that this time, he did 14 dubbing sessions, each lasting around two hours, so that he could perfectly match his voice to the character’s personality and swag.
