Milk production will be increased by providing calves to every household
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that 33 crore gods and goddesses reside in cow-mother. Whoever rears cows is Gopal, the one who has cows in his house is Gokul. Therefore, every person and family should take initiative for cow-rearing in the house. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we have to encourage cow-rearing without any discrimination of religion, language, caste and region. Traditionally also, people of all religions and castes in India rear cows and this is a symbol of our social harmony. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Bhoomi Pujan program of a high-tech cow-shed with a capacity of 10 thousand cows in village Barkhedi Dob of Bhopal. It is worth mentioning that a cow-shed is going to be constructed in an area of 25 acres in village Barkhedi Dob of Bhopal district at a cost of Rs 15 crore. On reaching the high-tech cow-shed land-pujan site, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav first of all bowed down to the cow-mother by caressing her and offered food items to her. On this occasion, a short film was screened on the activities being conducted in the state for cow protection and increasing milk production.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Mr. Vishwas Sarang, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Mrs. Krishna Gaur, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) Mr. Lakhan Patel, MP Mr. Alok Sharma, MLA Mr. Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai, District Panchayat President Mrs. Ramkunwar Naurang Singh Gurjar and public representatives were present.
The importance of cow shelters is increasing in the changing lifestyle
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that cows supply milk to most countries of the world. The importance of cows in Sanatan culture becomes clear from the fact that cow donation is said to be essential for the completeness of human life. The importance of cow shelters is constantly increasing in the changing lifestyle. In view of this, the state government is actively working towards establishing huge cow shelters, so far 300 cow shelters have been registered in the current year. Various social organizations are also taking initiative in operating cow shelters. Cow rearing is helpful in providing nutritious food items to the family along with economic empowerment of families. Therefore, milk production will be encouraged by providing calves to every household. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is soon making arrangements to give bonus on milk production. At present, Madhya Pradesh contributes 9 percent to the total milk production of the country. The target is to take it to 20 percent in the next five years.
Sukhi Sewania Road will be made four lane
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to convert Government School Sukhi Sewania into CM Rise School and to make Sukhi Sewania Road a four-lane road as per departmental funds. He said that employment opportunities will be provided by developing Barkhedi Dob area as an industrial area. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that degree-diploma course related to cow mother will be started through Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University.
While praising the efforts being made by the Madhya Pradesh government in the field of cow protection and cow breeding, Swami Shri Achyutanand Ji Maharaj said that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has made arrangements for the rearing of about 50 thousand cows in the state in the short time since the formation of the government and has pledged to take care of lakhs of cows in the state. The Madhya Pradesh government is celebrating this year as the cow breeding year. Today, the establishment of Golok Dham here is a meaningful effort in this series. All the Mahatmas, all the sages thank and bless Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for this effort. The rearing of mother cow is the responsibility of all of us Sanatanis. We should make such efforts that there is a cow in every house. A house is desolate without mother cow.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is dedicated to the overall development of the state
MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state government is dedicated to the welfare of women, youth, farmers, labourers and senior citizens. The state government is conducting activities on a wide scale for the protection of cows. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is active for the overall development of the state including infrastructure development, education and medicine. Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) Shri Lakhan Patel expressed his gratitude.
Cows will get food from conveyor belt and monitoring will be done through CCTV
It is noteworthy that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the current year (from Chaitra month to Falgun month) is being celebrated as the year of cow conservation and cow development in the state. Keeping this in view, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan on Saturday for the construction of a state-of-the-art cowshed with a capacity of 10 thousand cows in Barkhedi Dob, Bhopal.
In this, along with modern maintenance of cows, a medical ward equipped with all the resources for their treatment will also be constructed.
There will be a system of continuous monitoring in the cow shed through CCTV.
The cowshed will be constructed by the Rural Engineering Department at a cost of approximately Rs 15 crore. The Municipal Corporation and Animal Husbandry Department will be the nodal agencies. The cowshed will be financed by the Smart City Project and the District Panchayat. The cowshed will be operated by the Municipal Corporation.
The cowshed will be constructed in 3 phases. In the first phase, a capacity of about 2000 animals will be built.
In this ultra-modern cowshed, straw, green grass, animal feed etc. will be delivered to the cows through conveyor belt.
Various materials will be prepared from cow dung and urine etc. in the cowshed and a plant for producing organic manure will also be installed.
A medical ward is also being built for the treatment of animals living in cow sheds and animals getting injured and sick on the roads.
