Weather is pleasant due to rain in Uttarakhand, but farmers are worried, know when the rain will stop

Uttarakhand: The rainy season has started again in Uttarakhand, which has given relief to the people from the heat, but this weather has become a cause of concern for the farmers. There has been a lot of rain in the entire state for the last two days. On one hand, while this brought down the temperature and the weather became cold, on the other hand, due to hailstorm and heavy rain, crops have been damaged in many places. The fields have suffered heavy damage due to hailstorm in the hilly areas. Heavy rains occurred in Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Bageshwar and Chamoli late on Friday evening, and the hailstorm ruined the hard work of the farmers. Wheat, potato and apple crops have been most affected due to waterlogging in the fields. Heavy rains also occurred in Kedarnath, and snowfall has been seen in many high altitude areas including Chorabari. For the last three days, it has been raining continuously in Kedarnath Dham after noon. It has been raining intermittently in Dehradun since this morning. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that hailstorms may occur along with heavy rains in some parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Almora districts. A yellow alert has been issued for this.
Rain has become a disaster especially in the hilly districts. The Meteorological Department has also warned of hailstorms along with strong winds and rain in these areas on Saturday. At the same time, light rain is expected in the rest of the state. Winds may blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour along with strong thunderstorms in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Talking about the coming days, the weather is expected to be clear across the state from April 13. Meteorological Department Director Bikram Singh said that the possibility of bad weather from 9 to 12 April was already predicted. The weather will become normal after the 13th, but the weather may change again from April 17. He said that in the coming time, strong winds will blow and there is also a possibility of hail. The public has been appealed to avoid traveling in bad weather. Its effect can also be seen in plain areas like Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for these areas. While people were troubled by the scorching heat in April, now the sudden change in weather has increased the worries of the farmers.
