Uttarakhand Weather Update The wait for rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand is about to end. The weather department has predicted light rain across the state on December 8 and 9, along with snowfall in areas that are above 2,500 meters in elevation. Due to a lack of rain in October and November, temperatures in the state have been higher than usual. Rohit Thapliyal, a meteorologist at the weather center in Dehradun, mentioned that the effects of a western disturbance will be felt on December 8 and 9. This will likely bring light rain throughout the state and snowfall in the higher regions. Following this, we can expect a drop in temperature by 2 to 4 degrees over the next three to four days, which will make it feel colder.
