Uttarakhand: The weather in Uttarakhand took a turn on Sunday. The entire state is covered with clouds, which have brought a noticeable chill to the air. According to the weather department, rain is expected in the state’s hilly areas. Since Sunday morning, clouds have dominated most parts of Uttarakhand, especially in the mountainous regions where the sun hasn’t been able to break through. Snowfall was reported in several areas on Saturday. In Chamoli, snowfall occurred in places like Badrinath, Hemkund, the Valley of Flowers, and in Niti and Mana, which has increased the chill. The weather department predicts light rain in areas like Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh. As snow covers the mountains, tourists are flocking to these regions to enjoy the beautiful snowy landscapes. Most of the Himalayan peaks are blanketed in snow, and this scenic beauty is drawing visitors from far and wide. Auli, in particular, is seeing a surge in tourists, many of whom are also enjoying skiing in the snow.
