We have removed all the obstacles; you can set up industries, the government will help: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that today Madhya Pradesh is on a new flight. The policies of the government have created an environment of trust among investors. Entrepreneurs, industrialists, traders, businessmen in the state are all excited. We are moving forward with a new stream, a new energy and commitment to promote entrepreneurship. We have removed all the obstacles and hindrances to make business easy in the state. You just set up an industry, our government will provide you every necessary help from setting up the industry to running it, will give incentives. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the distribution ceremony of industry investment subsidy organized by the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in a private hotel on Tuesday.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred industry investment subsidy of Rs. 1075 crore to about 2500 micro, small and medium industrial units established in the state and about Rs. 703 crore to small and big (large category) industries, thus totalling Rs. 1778 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred the subsidy amount to the bank accounts of entrepreneurs (investors) through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) with a single click by pressing the remote. He said that the increasing enthusiasm of entrepreneurs in the state is our capital. We have received a very good response from GIS. Every investor is welcome and respected in Madhya Pradesh. We have encouraged all small and big industries, we have also taken care of everyone in the annual state budget of the new financial year. He said that last year we transferred industry investment subsidy amount of Rs. 5 thousand 260 crore to the accounts of investors through DBT with complete transparency. This process will continue in future as well.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that the state government has formulated a new industrial policy to provide new heights to industrial development in Madhya Pradesh. Global Investors Summit 2025 was successfully organized in Bhopal under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in which investment proposals worth more than 30 lakh 77 thousand crores have been received. The government has started Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of industrial units at the divisional level. Bhoomi Pujan of industrial units by the state government and transfer of incentive amount to them is the next step to encourage investors after GIS.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government explored investment possibilities in the state for the first time and the 7 Regional Investors Summits organized at the divisional level achieved new heights. Industrialists from the country and the world showed enthusiasm in investment and development of industries in the state. Prime Minister Shri Modi gave investment mantras to industrialists and businessmen in the inaugural session of GIS. He had said that this is the right time to invest in Madhya Pradesh which has immense possibilities. Congratulating the Industry Department and investors on the successful organization of GIS, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that if the investment figures received in GIS are seen, then both the state government and investors have lived up to the trust of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Funds are being sent through DBT to provide incentives to industries. The government does not discriminate between small and big investors and industrialists. The government is providing industry incentives to everyone.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in line with Prime Minister Shri Modi’s resolution of Developed India @ 2047, the Madhya Pradesh government has also set a target of doubling the state budget in 5 years. The government has presented a budget of Rs 4 lakh 21 thousand crore for the year 2025-26. In this, the budget amount for industrial development has been increased by one and a half times. The state government has declared the year 2025 as the Industry Year. Industrial development activities will be conducted throughout the year across the state.

IT sector conclave will be held in Indore on 27 April

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after the successful organization of GIS and RIC, now sector based industry conclaves are being started at the district level across the state. The first such IT sector conclave will be organized in Indore on 27 April. The state government will conduct industrial activities within the state, as well as attract investors from outside the state through road shows. The inauguration and bhoomi pujan of industries in all 10 divisions of Madhya Pradesh has started from Bhind in Chambal. After this, the second bhoomi pujan program of 27 units has been done in Ujjain. Our government is taking advice from experts of the field including international business consultants to provide a new direction to industry and trade. This process of industrial development will continue in the state.

Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperative Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a new industrial revolution has begun in Madhya Pradesh. The state is moving towards touching new dimensions of development in every field. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav does what he says. The economy of the state is growing rapidly along with the nation. Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas and the resolve to build the nation is the vision of the double engine government. The successful organisation of the Global Investors Summit has paved a new path for the development of Madhya Pradesh. Our government is providing full support to set up industries and run them in a better manner.

The only example in the country where all payments till March 31, 2025 are made simultaneously to the entrepreneurs: Minister Shri Kashyap

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chetan Kumar Kashyap thanked the industrialists for showing faith in the state and said that the provision of incentives worth Rs 1778 crores through a single click by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is the commitment of the state government towards the development of industries. He said that for the first time in the country, all the payments till 31 March 2025 of the schemes announced by the government for the promotion of industries are being made together.

Minister Mr. Kashyap said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, new plans for the development of industries were made and they are also being implemented rapidly. He said that this is the reason that the confidence of industrialists in Madhya Pradesh has increased. The investment received in the Global Investors Summit has started showing on the ground. He reiterated the commitment of the state government to provide employment to the youth. He said that an environment of entrepreneurship has been created in Madhya Pradesh and the process of creating 20 new industrial centers is underway. Mentioning the Chief Minister’s commitment to development through heritage, he thanked the Chief Minister for renaming CM Rise Schools as Sandipani Vidyalaya.

Planning to open a research and development centre: B. Srinivasan

CEO of Volvo-Eicher (VE) Commercial Vehicles Ltd. Mr. B. Srinivasan praised the industry-friendly policies of the Madhya Pradesh government. He said that the government is helping industrialists by giving incentives. We have eight plants in the state and our company is planning to set up a new plant in Ujjain. We are getting full support from Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and MPIDC. Every investor is impressed by the industry-friendly policies of the government. Our company has started an electric truck manufacturing unit in Bhopal, where all the workers are girls. Apart from this, our company is also taking concrete action on the plan to open a research and development center for the auto sector.

Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh informed about the decisions taken in the industrial sector through the efforts of the state government in Madhya Pradesh. He said that in line with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government has decided to build hostels for women workers in the same industrial complex for the first time in the state at a cost of 290 crores. These hostels will be developed in the industrial areas of Ujjain, Pithampur, Malanpur, Jhabua, Dewas. The government is ready to provide adequate support to the industries, wherever investment proposals are received, our support system becomes active immediately to implement them.

In the function of transfer of industrial incentive amount, Vardhman Group Director Mr. T.C. Gupta expressed his gratitude and said that his group will set up a new industrial unit in the state by investing Rs. 3 thousand crores. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government has been successful in winning the trust of all the investors.

Regional MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, MD of Sagar Group Shri Siddharth Agarwal, Managing Director of MPIDC Shri Chandramouli Shukla along with reputed industrialists, businessmen, office bearers of industry associations and a large number of investors were present at the ceremony.
